Harvey Primary School (PS) is seeking a hardworking Gardener – Handyperson to join their team.About the RoleThe successful applicant will work to provide gardening, grounds and facility management to ensure a safe and clean school environment. They will maintain and present the school grounds and gardens in an attractive, clean, and tidy condition, and provide a suitable growing environment for both soft and hard landscaping, including turf management.We are seeking applicants with effective communication skills to help develop and maintain good working relationships with school staff and external stakeholders concerning school grounds maintenance. The Gardener-Handyperson will be expected to work alongside our cleaners. To be successful in this role you will ideally be confident in performing minor repairs and have a sound knowledge of safe work practices to carry out your duties.Harvey PS is located in the irrigation district of the South West of Western Australia. It has a student population of 300 including many with an Italian heritage and an increasing cohort from Asian countries.
