The Gardner is responsible for maintaining gardens, lawns and external grounds.
Your work will be done along side a team of maintenance officers and together you will ensure that the sites are highly presentable and you build positive relationships with each other and the various employees on site.

- Maintain gardens, lawns, grounds and carparks to ensure that the sites is highly presentable. This includes:
- seasonal fertilizing of lawns and gardens and weed management;
- Periodic pruning, regular trimming trees and hedges & replanting of gardens where required; - maintenance of lawn and gardening machinery/equipment
-operate various types of power equipment including lawn mowers, trimmers, hedge trimmers etc
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role, ideally two (2) years or more
- Applied knowledge of requirements for lawns and gardens maintenance
- Problem solving and decision-making skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Adhere to and promote a safe and healthy workplace culture
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - a demonstrated ability to utilise Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Exceptional customer service and/or stakeholder engagement skills
- Must have valid drivers license and own vehicle
- Must have experience operating and maintaining role related equipment (e.g.-ride on mowers, whipper snipper etc)
- A National Criminal History Check, relevant for Aged Care (or willingness to obtain)
