About the role:
We are looking for a Gas Fitter to join Origin’s Customer Solutions team. You’ll provide Gas Fitting services for the installation and maintenance of gas equipment at Origin customer and terminal sites.

-Complete new scheduled LPG installations in line with required codes and standards
-To actively participate in all residential, commercial and industrial installations in the area
-Provide advice on LPG, Natural gas installations to customers, including internal contacts
-Review existing installations to ensure they comply with current industry standards and Origin codes and provide information or quote to bring up to the current standards
-Complete records in accordance with statutory and company requirements for bulk tanks, cylinders and terminal
-Promote Origin services to and build relationships with customers to ensure best possible return for the business
-Provide quotations for account managers for new or upgraded installations in line with required codes and standards
-Review existing installations to ensure they comply with current industry standards and Origin codes and provide information or quote to bring up to the currants standards
What you will bring:

-You are a trade qualified Gas Fitter, with G and/or I/P license & exposure to LPG and Natural Gas
-Prior domestic experience with exposure to performing B type servicing, breakdowns and installation of gas appliance

-Plumbing/Draining and Electrical Licences are desirable, yet not essential
-You place a high priority on searching for new ways to gain efficiency without sacrifice to the customer, service, and safety
-While working unsupervised, your ability to deal with customers and resolve gas related issues and remain calm under pressure is essential
-You possess a current manual Driver’s Licence suitable for all vehicles driven
