On behalf of our client, one of Australia's leading Civil and Mining Contractor's, MPI are currently seeking applications from experienced Road Train Fitters for these positions across the Goldfields and Pilbara regions.
These are long-term opportunities and will see successful applicants work under a temp to perm arrangement.About the roles:
These roles are workshop based plus some service and breakdown work as required. The suitable candidates will be responsible for all maintenance requirements to the fleet of Road Trains, including Kenworth, Mack and Scania prime movers as well as the trailers and dollys.
Experience with hydraulics and some basic auto electrical skills will be beneficial; so that you can work on the brake lines and trailer lights - nothing too complex, so basic skills are all that is needed.To be considered you will ideally:
- Currently reside in Western Australia
- Hold a relevant Australian trade certificate
- Hold a current HR driver's licence
- Hold a current (issued within the last 6 months) or be able to obtain a National Police clearance
- Have the ability to pass all pre-employment medical requirements, including drug/alcohol screens
- Have an exceptionally high standard for safety and compliance to site protocols
- Be able to provide a minimum of two contactable referees, relevant to your experience.
