About the role
As a Gatehouse Attendant, you will play a key role to control, monitor, and restrict the entry and exit of all goods, vehicles, staff, contractors, and visitors to and from the site, in accordance with site security and safety regulations. This role is a part-time position, generally working 20 hours per week.
This is a past-paced role, and you will have a variety of responsibilities within the following areas:
- Safety
- Systems and processes
- Service delivery
- Reporting and administration/Data entry
Safety is at the forefront of everything we do and to be employed in this role, you'll need to clear a pre-employment medical, which includes a fitness assessment and a drug and alcohol test.
About you
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Sound decision-making skills
- Current driver’s license
- Basic MS Office skills. Knowledge of SAP system desirable
- Exposure to working in the automotive industry, logistics systems experience related to material warehousing, planning, transportation, and inventory control highly desirable
