What you'll be doing
- The Storesperson’s role is responsible for the ordering, receiving and delivery of stock and non-stock items and gas from suppliers for Blacktown and Mount Druitt hospitals.
- Storespersons work in conjunction with a variety of stakeholders including Nursing Unit Managers, Clinical Support Officers, Department Managers, administration staff and HealthShare to ensure required stock is order in a timely and efficient manner.

Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated ability to communicate efficiently at all levels with previous customer service experience.
- High level time management and organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads and be able to work autonomously when required with a commitment to getting the job done efficiently
- Sound working knowledge and demonstrated application of Work Health and Safety requirements in a receiving dock/store environment and with a good standard of physical fitness and the ability to undertake physical tasks (within stationary limits)
- Sound computer knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (or similar) and previous experience using electronic stock ordering equipment
- Previous experience working in a warehouse/stores or similar environment with knowledge of stock control and stores operations
- Current drivers licence valid within Australia and forklift licence
- Current Drivers Licence valid in Australia
- Current Forklift Licence
