Permanent Part-time Part Year opportunity (32 hours per week for 41 weeks of the year)
Base Salary $51,724 - $64,596 p.a plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading (pro rata based on the part time hours above)

About the role
The Toolstoreperson is responsible for providing high level customer service to support the effective and efficient delivery of educational programs. This position may be required to work to a roster and to carry out manual handling activities. This position contributes to the daily operational needs of the section.
About You
To succeed in the role, you must have some experience working within the trade environment or related work areas.
You will be required to use your strong communication skills to liaise with suppliers and service providers. You are a self-driven and disciplined individual who will take ownership of your tasks without supervision and apply your advanced organisational skills to plan, maintain and support the practical delivery within the facility.
You will place the customer at the centre of all decision making and reflect the TAFE NSW’s values in the way you work.
To be successful in this role you must meet the Essential Requirements as outlined in the Position Description:
1. Demonstrated experience working within a trade environment or related work areas.
2. Demonstrated experience in all aspects of purchasing within a trade environment.
3. Demonstrated experience in use of hand & power tools, small machinery and tool maintenance in a trade environment.
4. Demonstrated ability to work as a team member or with limited supervision.
5. Ability to address and meet focus capabilities as stated in the Position Description.
It is highly desirable that you have a forklift license, however not essential.
