The purpose of the Memorial Installer is to oversee and manage the cremation process, verifying all incoming and outgoing documentation, removal and installation of memorial plaques, cremated remains, cemetery plaques, concrete and granite bases and provide a high level of customer service to all internal and external stakeholders. - Verify the accuracy of all documentation before initiating cremation procedures.
- Install various types of memorials, including cremated remains, granite, plaques, and bases, ensuring precise placement.
- Remove memorials due to cancellations or the end of tenure, leaving the area orderly and neat.
- Clean and handle plaques post-ACM (Asbestos Containing Material) removal, adhering to ACM protocols and procedures.
- Ensure all equipment remains operational and clean, promptly reporting any malfunctions to management.
- An Australian drivers licence
- The confidence to independently navigate and operate computers, specifically the MS Office package - Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
- A comprehensive understanding of WHS and Risk policies and procedures.
- To be comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor settings, as needed.
