AddressR&M Insurance Brokers is a family business that has been servicing the Newcastle region for over 45 years. We are looking for someone with an Insurance Broking background to take on this new position.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Responding to new business or existing client enquiries
- Review of potential client circumstances, quoting and placement of new business policies
- Management of existing client’s insurance policies, including policy placements, advising professionally on their insurance covers and making any requested changes
- Some Claims Processing
- Other activities incidental to General Insurance Broking
The role is predominantly an office based position, however we are willing to negotiate flexible work arrangements. Immediate start available!
Applicant must have:
- Minimum 3 years industry experience in a similar role in Commercial Insurance
- Tier 1 or Tier 2 Qualifications
The successful applicant will have:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Great attention to detail
- Willingness to get the job done
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft suite of applications
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work autonomously
- Commitment to working as part of a team
It would be advantageous not essential if the applicant has:
- knowledge of WinBEAT and Sunrise
