Your Responsibilities:Assist with General Maintenance: Showcase your versatility by aiding in various maintenance tasks as needed. Your ability to assist with minor repairs, additions and upkeep existing assets contributes to maintaining our top-tier facilities.
Painting & Carpentry Experience: Utilise your painting and carpentry expertise to enhance and maintain our facility's aesthetic appeal.
Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure the cleanliness, organisation, and allure of our gym/s for our members. This entails upholding cleanliness standards across diverse areas, including fitness equipment, changing rooms, and communal spaces.
Working With Children Check: Possession of a valid Working With Children Check is essential. We prioritise the safety and well-being of all members, particularly our younger patrons.
Location and Travel: Given we have multiple faucets of our business, occasional travel to our other club locations and businesses will be necessary. This offers variety in your role and opportunities to explore different facets of our fitness community and other businesses that we operate.
What We Are Looking For:To be successful in your application you will need to possess the following knowledge, skills, and attributes:
- 5+ years of proven experience as a commercial handyman or similar role.
- Knowledge of building maintenance, repair, and safety procedures.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools.
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, fixing carpentry and painting.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Flexibility to work on-call or outside regular business hours as needed.
- Valid drivers licence and reliable transportation.
- Police background clearance.
- Ownership of personal tools.
