We're seeking a highly skilled General Manager to oversee operations, drive growth, and ensure excellence in project delivery through the SEQ region from the Gold Coast up the Sunshine Coast.
**Responsibilities:**
- Provide strategic leadership to all departments, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Develop and implement business strategies to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety throughout the organization.
- Manage client and supplier relationships and identify new business opportunities to expand our presence.
- Oversee project planning, budgeting, and execution to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Reporting to the Managing Director and Operations Manager
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the Earthworks civil industry.
- Strong business acumen with a track record of driving profitability and growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- In-depth knowledge of civil works processes, regulations, and best practices.
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
- You must be based in South East Queensland
- Construction Induction/ White Card is mandatory
- Candidates that hold a HR truck license and plant tickets will be looked at in preferable
