About the roleThe Case Support Officer plays a critical role in ensuring that UOW meets it's legislative and duty of care obligations in managing and investigating the most serious, sensitive, and complex complaints, research misconduct and reports of serious wrongdoing. This position is the first point of contact for enquiries and is responsible for receiving and assessing incoming complaints and reports, managing simplex cases, and providing administrative and case management support to the Senior Manager Complaints and Complex Case Officers.About the UnitThe Complaints Management Centre (CMC), situated within the Integrity Division, plays a pivotal role at the University of Wollongong. We provide expert guidance to the university community on complaint issues, managing reports of serious wrongdoing (PID's), investigating research misconduct complaints, and coordinating complex matters across university portfolios and policies. The CMC also triages and manages complaints received directly, coordinates resolution with external agencies like the NSW Ombudsman and ICAC, collects and analyses complaint data for reporting, advises on policy interpretation and application and ensures compliance with legislation and best practices.How to applyApplicants are requested to submit a CV and cover letter.
