Escape Manor, Brisbane’s premier real-life Escape Room experience is seeking a dynamic and organised Assistant General Manager to assist the General Manager to provide a consistent, high quality, immersive experience for our guests, with great potential for advancement.
Requirements:
- Ability to build, lead, and inspire a team
- Experience in managing staff to achieve a corporate mission
- Experience in upholding corporate values
- Experience in recruitment, selection, training and development
- A demonstrated understanding of business requirements
- Experience in rostering a flexible team to meet varying work loads
- Ability to solve problems under time pressure
- Ability to understand the details of Escape Rooms
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Available to work a flexible work week, including evenings, weekends and school holidays
- Hospitality experience is an asset
- Experience in building maintenance (rooms/mechanical/electrical) is an asset
Additional requirements – The Assistant General Manager will also be required to lead shifts and host Escape Rooms:
- Lead and direct the shift team to ensure a first-class guest experience
- Provide a welcoming guest reception and farewell
- Ability to engage and impress all types of guests
- Handle and reconcile payments
- Respond to guest enquiries
- Serve drinks in our licensed lounge (RSA required)
- When required, host Escape Rooms with flair and precision
