Accor Tropical North Queensland (Magnetic Island) are seeking a General Manager to join the team that delivers an exceptional guest experience.
As our next General Manager reporting directly to the Area General Manager, you will:
• Directly manage all facets of your property including revenue management, recruiting & training, customer service and achievement of financial targets
• Be responsible for leading and developing your team to ensure the hotel’s profitability and success
• Focus on driving room revenue and customer sentiment, in order to have a proven track record of success
• Be instrumental in driving changes and improvements in performance and implementing strategies in line with business objectives
What we are looking for:
• A dynamic, level-headed leader who will guide their team to hospitality service excellence
• Someone with previous experience in the same or similar role is ideal
• Excellent written and verbal communicative skills
• Exceptional personal presentation and hygiene standards so as to accurately represent both yourself and the brand
• A mature, collaborative approach and attention to the small things that make a difference is what makes you stand out above the rest
• Confidence in your capability to effectively resolve difficult situations and implement solutions that improve the service levels and financial results of the business
• Comprehension of the key metrics that impact and grow hospitality businesses, using this knowledge to drive top line revenue and motivating your team to do the same
This position offers a salary range of AUD$95,000.00- $110,000.00 based on working days and penalties applicable as per the Hospitality Industry General Award.
