About You:
You are an experienced General Manager who is passionate about business excellence, dedicated to optimising productivity, nurturing talent, and committed to driving sustainable growth. You are described as a results-driven leader who exemplifies the following attributes:
- A proven track record as a hands on General Manager demonstrating your commitment to business success whilst leading a business through a substantial period of growth.
- Civil construction industry experience .
- A strong local network in South East Queensland and excellent understanding of relevant council processes and requirements. SEQ, BCC, SCC codes.
- Demonstrated experience in handling tier one contracts and familiarity with complex negotiations
- Proven ability to navigate and successfully participate in tender and claims processes compliant with industry legislative requirements.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to cultivate and manage positive relationships.
- Exceptional leadership skills, dedicated to developing and empowering our talented team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 is a must, and familiarity with Xero, Tsheets, Verizon, and Simpro is highly regarded.
Your New Role:
As the General Manager, your primary focus in this role will be to build and cultivate a tight-knit, high-performing culture, forge enduring relationships with stakeholders, and infuse your expertise into the business operations. You will play a pivotal role in orchestrating seamless, well-coordinated administration across all aspects of the business, and closely collaborate with the Director to chart the course of the company's growth.
