Energy Queensland is embarking upon a significant transformational change across its digital and technology capabilities and now seeks a General Manager, Assurance, to drive the organisational vision, strategy, thought leadership, and roadmap for oversight of the interdependencies of EQL’s digital transformation program and the provision of ongoing assurance advice to the CEO, ELT, and Board.
As General Manager, you will develop a comprehensive strategy that will enable the organisation to have confidence in the ongoing assurance of the digital transformation program. To that end, you will be an exceptional communicator who is skilled in gaining the trust and confidence of senior leaders within all areas of Energy Queensland.
You will also be comfortable presenting at the Board and Committee level in giving an accurate and easily understood overview of the health of the digital transformation.
Having developed your career in complex and large-scale assurance environments (ideally with a technology and transformation focus), you will have superior and advanced stakeholder and project management skills. You will collaborate effectively across a diverse stakeholder group to drive assurance insights, support informed decision-making, and improve overall business performance.
You will advocate robust and relevant assurance protocols to ensure that the transformation stays on target and delivers promptly within budget.
You may have worked your way through a consulting firm and wish to work on one of the largest programs in Queensland, alternatively, you may have worked in-house at scale in an organisation that has undergone huge change, transformation, and growth. You will be comfortable communicating at the most senior level and delivering a complex program of work that is unique in its scope and scale.
