Job description

Reporting to the Executive General Manager - Gaming Machines, the General ManagerGaming Machines Operations leads an engaged team in delivering a high level of customer service to all customers at Crown Perth.

This position will manage the operations of Gaming Machines, Crown Rewards, Premium Gaming, Keno and TAB, identify strategic opportunities, and provide direction to ensure the team/department achieves its objectives and allocated requirements.

This role will be responsible for managing and maintaining the processes of the team to ensure the business remains compliant with all regulatory and legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Lead the operations of Gaming Machines, Crown Rewards, Premium Gaming, Keno and TAB with the aim to develop and grow business.
  • Manage the team's achievement of objectives linked to the business unit strategy.
  • Ensure as appropriate the best possible customer experience is delivered within the department.
  • Work cooperatively with cross functional peers and associated management teams to support a 'one team' approach in delivering the best possible employee experience.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, licensing and legislative framework including but not limited to Internal Control Manuals, Casino Control Act, RSA, RG and AML/CTF
  • Establish excellent relationships with all business units related to Gaming Machines
  • Achieve sales & financial targets within business unit.
  • Propose and implement initiatives aimed at revenue growth.
  • Report to Senior Management on team and business performance

To be successful, you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Extensive experience in a senior management role, preferable in a Casino, Hospitality, Retail or Service Environment.
  • 5 - 10 years experience in gaming or hospitality management
  • 5 - 10 years experience in people management
  • Experience managing indirect reports through Shift Managers
  • Experience in strategy development and business planning
  • Exceptional leadership skills and ability to motivate and develop a large team.
