The General Manager is an integral role at VLocker Pty Ltd. This role extends beyond mere leadership oversight of operations; it involves integration of strategy, with their direct reports with the aim of creating business excellence.
The General Manager is tasked with making visionary decisions that drive the company forward, creating sales, developing and leading key team members and major projects, improving operations and services efficiencies, and ensuring the organisational vision and profitability is realised through meticulous execution within budget and set timelines. They will, in line with developed business plans and implementation strategies, manage all marketing components. The General Manager is tasked with overseeing a small team and driving consistent communication across all platforms to both internal and external stakeholders to support business objectives and provide company performance reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the general daily operations of the company to ensure all activities remain on time and within budget.
- Steer company operations, ensuring alignment with corporate strategies and objectives
- Provide visionary leadership, offering inspiration, guidance and reviews to foster high-performing talent development and a culture of continuous improvement
- Create and maintain ongoing communication with existing clients, potential clients, suppliers, VLocker’s commercial partners, and internal and external stakeholders
- Assist the CEO in developing long term strategies, plans, and immediate tactical responses
- Assist the CEO with developing annual operations budgets and managing financial targets
- Develop and implement a comprehensive annual sales and marketing plan
- Achieve agreed sales targets through growth, retention, and conversion strategies
- Own, manage, and leverage all marketing tools and sales support material
- Project manage the onboarding of major new Key Clients
- Provide monthly sales/operations updates to CEO
- Increase the efficiency of internal processes and practices to ensure operations are continuously improved
Generous Salary Package:
- Annual Salary is negotiable for the right candidate, depending on the experience you will bring to the role.
- 11.5% Superannuation
- Mobile and laptop will be supplied
- Flexible hours and working arrangements (such as work from home) can be offered
- Full time based in North Hobart
