AddressThe General Manager - Roads is responsible for all Stornoway Road Maintenance Operations in Tasmania. Stornoway holds long term road maintenance contracts with the Department of State Growth, Hydro Tasmania and TasWater. This division of Stornoway engages 140 people, with operational hubs throughout Tasmania .
The role is a member of the Stornoway executive team and has an annual operational budget accountability in excess of $20m.

- Deep experience in leading a large team in an operational setting – design strategy for business growth goals
- Track record in developing team members to reach their full potentially, exceeding engagement and productivity
- Safety leadership in an operational setting
- Strong customer service credentials
- Large commercial contract comprehension and implementation skills
- Strong commercial acumen and financial literacy
- Strong communications skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse stakeholder group
Desirable attributes include
- Experience in the infrastructure and/or asset management sector
- Experience in tendering large infrastructure services contracts
