About the Role
Your role as the General Manager of Growth will be to lead the sales and marketing functions of the business. Working closely with the General Manager of Operations you will focus on refining marketing strategies and existing sales processes, whilst exploring expansion opportunities into new markets. Shed Bonanza have invested heavily in a Salesforce based CRM and managing this will be a major component of the role. You will also analyse pricing structures, product performance, and lead generation to drive increased profitability and market share.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the sales process at Shed Bonanza, ensuring the customer journey is clearly defined and well managed in its execution.
- Take ownership of the sales process and drive performance with the Sales Manager.
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring the budget spent will be able to generate quality leads that are then converted to sales.
- Develop new product offerings with the GM of Operations and develop sales targets and budgets for these products.
- Continue to build the digital presence of the business, ensuring online presence will drive the strategic direction of the business.
Skills
- Exposure to the building and construction industry, ideally with retail sales exposure.
- Strong background in retail sales and marketing, ideally with a higher value lower turnover product.
- Previously managed an internal sales team, driving performance and culture.
- Marketing expertise, strong digital exposure, can demonstrate where they have driven a return on investment with marketing spend.
- Driven by targets, and getting an outcome.
