The General Manager Human Resources will report directly to the APAC HR Director and will be a key member of the senior leadership team. They will be responsible for championing a positive workplace culture, developing HR strategy and policy and initiating action plans that most effectively utilises the organisations Human Resources to support operational excellence and process improvement objectives, including employee relations, talent management and succession planning, revenue, sales targets and bottom line results.
This is a true Business Partner and advisor role that will address complex challenges across a broad spectrum of HR disciplines. The environment is dynamic and the culture encourages personal growth through high-performance teamwork. Immediate challenges will include; collaborating with the senior leadership group in all aspects of HR and workplace relations to drive performance productivity and employee engagement levels; management of ER/IR issues consulting on key policy and employment legislation issues including EA/EBA negotiations; manage WH&S requirements; working cooperatively, collaboratively and proactively with all areas within the business and support the business leaders in line with global standards and ensure the delivery of best practice HR and IR initiatives.
It is essential that you can demonstrate significant commercial and business career experience as a generalist Human Resources Leader within a complex business to business multi-site industrial services business. You will be an exceptional communicator who is able to seamlessly integrate from blue-collar to professional level and with a proven ability to influence and contribute tactically and strategically. This US based group have strong growth aspirations and you will demonstrate a high level of intellectual rigour, energy and passion in what you undertake. Exposure within the OEM, industrial services, transport, logistics and supply chain industries will be well regarded.
