This is a hands-on role leading a national team across multiple sites and suits an individual with a reputation for excellence, rapport building, and relationship management with the Board, Executive leaders, site managers, and staff. A demonstrated passion for increasing staff capability in Safety and Well-being is essential.
We are looking to appoint a senior leader with outstanding people leaderships capability underpinned with excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong, trusted relationships across the business with all stakeholders including the Board and ELT, Residence Managers, external regulatory bodies and WHS Committee members.
It is expected the candidates will need to demonstrate:
- Experience in presenting to the Board of Directors and ELT
- Proven ability to develop and lead a Safety and well-being strategy that reduces injury severity and frequency improves premium and overall drive a culture of well being.
- Capability in developing metrics to drive enhanced performance and a targeted plan.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced complex environment.
- Successful claims and premium management experience in the Victorian Scheme.
- Previous experience in developing and implementing Mental Health and Wellbeing frameworks and programs.
- OH&S experience with Workplace Assessment experience.
- Strong communication, relationship building, and interpersonal skills.
- Multi-site exposure.
- Diploma of OH&S.
- Sound understanding of The Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act.
- Sound understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
In addition, Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment is highly desirable.
