Position responsibilities
Reporting to the General Manager Commercial you will lead a small team in providing commercial insights and financial reporting to the executive team. This includes consolidated reporting through to the wide group. Their parent company is one of Australia's largest industrial enterprises. Your role will oversee project accounting, business and cashflow reporting, strategic analysis and partnering with your GM and other divisions with the goal of guiding the company in achieving its financial goals and maximising its profit.
Desired skills and experience
As a qualified business professional you will have experience in providing commercial analysis and advice to senior leadership. This would ideally be within the industrial equipment, component manufacturing and fabrication industries or a branch network. You will have led a small finance team and have experience in consolidated reporting, management and project accounting with strong systems and financial modelling expertise. As the business is growing rapidly it is expected that your role will progress to the position of CFO within a three-to-four-year time frame.
