We are currently seeking an experienced General Manager / Management couple for a busy motel located in Regional New South Wales.
The successful candidate/s will have previous motel management experience, be able to work hands on alongside their team to offer excellence in customer service to the in house guests.
The property features accommodation, swimming pool, inhouse dining facilities and meeting rooms.
The town offers local shopping, medical facilities and schooling options if relocating as a family.
Package:
- $80,000-$90,000-General Manager
- $120,000-$140,000-Couple
- Free Accommodation-Onsite 2 Bedroom Unit
Position Objective
The Manager has overall operational accountability managing the ‘day-to-day’ property operations ensuring the smooth, effective and profitable running of the business whilst aligning these key responsibilities with positive leadership values that support and reinforce all Team Members to provide guests and other key stakeholders with friendly, professional and efficient service at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Day to day management of all aspects of the property in a hands on capacity covering front office, grounds, maintenance and oversee housekeeping and kitchen if applicable
- Ensure the grounds and pool are maintained
- Covering all aspects of front office, guest arrivals, departures, reservations, invoicing, management of external booking channels
- Ensure the highest standard of customer service
- Ensure the property is immaculately maintained at all times
- General marketing of the property at local level
- Cover all aspects of general administration
- Management of staff including rosters, timesheets, recruitment and performance management
- Stock management, ordering of housekeeping supplies and kitchen supplies if applicable
- Respond to after hours call outs / maintenance or guest issues
- Other duties as per the position description
