The Role
As our General Manager, you will be the driving force behind our mission. This part-time role offers a unique opportunity to balance professional leadership with personal well-being, all while making a meaningful impact.
Your Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Vision: Inspire and lead our team with a warm, inclusive approach, championing our values of empathy, equality, and empowerment.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee the daily operations of our two sites, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that meet the needs of our community.
- Strategic Development: Collaborate with the Board to shape and implement our strategic goals, fostering growth and innovation in our programs.
- Financial Stewardship: Oversee all aspects of the organisation’s operations, ensuring high standards of service delivery, compliance with regulatory requirements, and budget adherence.
- Community Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with stakeholders, partners, and the broader community to amplify our reach and effectiveness.
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably within the non-profit or community services sector.
- A deep understanding of feminist principles and a commitment to promoting gender equality.
- Strong financial acumen and experience with budget management.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
