About the General Manager role:

Tasks and duties

1. Overseeing daily operations of the business such as the production, pricing, sales, or distribution of products.
2. Creating and implementing growth strategies.
3. Setting key performance goals.
4. Hiring key personnel and overseeing training programs.
5. Evaluating and deciding upon investments in equipment, infrastructure, and people.
6. Reporting key results to senior executives.
7. Reviewing financial statements, sales or other performance data to measure productivity.
8. Identifying areas needing cost reduction or process improvement.
9. Sales, marketing, or customer service activities.

Our chosen candidate will be:

• Minimum of 5 years management experience in a high-end hospitality group, venue or company.
• Exceptional customer service standards and ability to develop genuine relationships and connections with all stakeholders.
• Skilled in technology and understanding the importance of customer relation management technology – experience with flex & restoke a bonus
• Strong experience in recruitment, onboarding, training and management of a professional and passionate hospitality team, recognising that our people make our business grow sustainably. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with staff, customers and stakeholders.
• Required to work evenings and weekends, as needed. 
• Exceptional financial management skills including previous responsibility for all aspects of your P&L
• Experience in F&B Marketing and Events strategy planning, collaboration, and execution.
