THE ROLE
They are seeking a General Manager, Developments based in Canberra with a generous package on offer, including short and long term incentives, allowances, and a healthy base.
The purpose of the role is to provide management oversight for the planning, approval and delivery of the development projects, including coordinating consultants, contractors, internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that specifications are being followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.
The role reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer. The opportunity also exists to onboard team members to assist the role.
YOU
You:
- will preferably have at least 10 years' experience assisting or supervising complex construction and development projects. Experience in complex residential projects is an advantage.
- will also be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- will be able to manage complex negotiations with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- have an excellent understanding of relevant codes, legislation, approval processes in development and building applications.
- will share the purpose of the organisation, delivering thriving communities for our senior Australians.
