As they continue to expand and evolve, they are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Professional to join their Group Function team during an exciting period of growth.
Description
This role offers an opportunity to drive finance transformation and strategy, in collaboration with the finance broader whilst also supporting the ELT team. Reporting into the CFO, this role will see you play a pivotal role in spearheading finance transformation initiatives and executing and developing strategic financial frameworks to support business objectives whilst also operating. Leveraging you deep technical and commercial finance background, your extensive background in retail finance will allow you to will provide valuable insights and guidance to optimise financial performance across the group and achieve best practice across the team.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Leading finance transformation projects to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and agility within the finance function.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial initiatives aligned with business goals.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to support decision-making processes.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to streamline financial processes and enhance accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
Profile
To be successful in this role you will have ideally started in a chartered environment and obtained a CA/CPA, coupled with extensive experience in the retail sector across multiple finance roles. Whilst this role will have a BAU component, you will also have expertise working through finance transformations and reviewing of strategic goals working closely with an ELT team. You will have a proven track record of leading finance projects aswell as strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large sets of data. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage across all levels of the organisation will also allow your success in this role.
