AddressWe are seeking a passionate and experienced General Manager Operations – Asset Maintenanceto join our Asset Management Group senior leadership team and be part of our exciting growth. Our Asset Maintenance Group (AMG) is responsible for the asset life cycle and maintenance execution, for the HME fleet across all MinRes sites.
Reporting to our Executive General ManagerAsset Maintenance, this role is responsible for all site based asset management activities ensuring safe, reliable and optimal performance of our fleet and people across multiple mine sites. This includes, planning, delivery standards and P&L management.
Relationships are the forefront of how you work and lead. Your demonstrated success will evidence this. This role works closely with site management, site maintenance, operational teams and suppliers to ensure we optimise fleet performance to achieve production outcomes. Further to our operational site teams, you play a key role in the AMG Senior Leadership Team and will form strong collaborative working relationships with your peers, and other key business leaders.
Key Accountabilities
- People leadership, promoting a one team culture where collaboration and accountability are at the forefront, whilst ensuring and enabling a safe, inclusive work environment.
- Performance, reliability, planning and cost effectiveness of the HME fleet within your portfolio, with an emphasis on building a strong planning culture
- Proactive HSEQT leadership and compliance governance ensuring MinRes standards and legislative requirements are achieved
- Collaborate with site and AMG leadership, influencing strategic decisions
- Apply your technical knowledge to address challenges faced across the supply chain
- Communicate with site teams to discuss and prioritise operations, productivity and utilisation of equipment and resources
- Prepare reports, analyse data and make recommendations for improving and solving both issues and opportunity
- Ensure operating within budget and in accordance with business governance
You will be a hands on operational leader with experience in managing significant portfolio of scope. Your people leadership style will enable you to optimise your team performance through diversity, leading from the front, a can do and energetic attitude. Site travel will be required within this role.
