The role of General Manager People, Culture, Safety and Sustainability has been developed to drive strategy, lead change and embed operational excellence.
Reporting to the CEO and with a highly capable team of professionals across the portfolio, the focus will be to strategically lead and align the team to the wider business, review and seek opportunities for improvement across functions, processes and outcomes and to bring a people-oriented perspective to the Executive Leadership team.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Bring engaging, enthusiastic and collaborative leadership skills
- Have deep domain expertise in human resources and people and culture with additional exposure leading safety environment and Sustainability highly regarded
- A proven ability to balance strategic and operational requirements with the flexibility to respond calmly to urgent requirements and in a crisis
- Have proven capability to lead areas outside of your own expertise
- Be committed to and understand the imperatives of Social License to Operate, with a track record of engaging communities and First Nations stakeholders
- Have an appreciation for and experience working with the principals of ESG
- Have exceptional verbal and written communication capability and be a visible leader with a growth mindset
