Lotterywest’s new General Manager will spearhead the commercial lottery gaming business unit. This division is a significant revenue generator, with annual sales exceeding $1.3 billion.
The Position:
Reporting to the newly appointed CEO, the successful candidate will lead and empower the high performing Lotteries Business Unit to deliver outcomes across:
- Strategic transformation
- Lottery operations
- Development of products & channels
- Marketing & sales
- Business analysis & insights
- Customer & retailer support
- Development of gaming systems & assets
This role, internally known as General Manager Lotteries, is a member of the Corporate Executive team and has shared responsibility for the strategic direction and leadership of Lotterywest. Specifically, the Lotteries business unit manages local and national lotto games, channels, and services for customers. Your team will include 9 direct reports and a total complement of 100.
This is a critical appointment for Lotterywest, and this individual will require strong leadership, strategic thinking capability and retail experience. Additionally, you will support a highly visible transformation program built around a new Gaming System, integrated Channel Strategy and a Better Business Program for a retail network.

This is a fixed-term position for a period of up to 5 years. The position classification is SES Class 2, with a salary of $196,891 plus superannuation and subsidised motor vehicle.
