GRO-SURE, a dynamic Australian owned business specialising in liquid fertilisers, provides innovative farmers with quality products and services to help grow their business into the future. GRO-SURE are seeking a commercially astute General Manager Sales to launch and lead the company’s expansion into the national marketplace. This greenfield role will drive their ambitious national sales objectives and support the next phase of growth for the business. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your extensive business development experience within the agribusiness sector to achieve the company’s sales and profit targets through the development, implementation and delivery of strategic sales, marketing and operations plans.
  
The key responsibilities of the role include:

• Drive the growth and vision of the business through the development and execution of effective sales, operations and marketing strategies.
• Establish and lead the annual budgeting process for the company.
• Develop and implement efficient sales processes and workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
• Provide visionary leadership to foster a collaborative, accountable, and results-driven culture.
• Implement process improvements and solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy in planning activities.
• Analyse market trends to determine pricing strategies, balancing costs, competition, and demand to drive profitability.
• Utilise sales data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, contributing insights to overall business strategy.
• Manage supplier relationships and oversee the supply chain function.

   
Background and Key Skills required:

• Extensive experience within the agribusiness sector.
• A successful track record within the agribusiness sector in initiating, growing and maintaining a diverse, profitable and high performing portfolio of clients.  
• An ethos of providing an exceptional customer experience and delivering value-add solutions to your clients.
• An ability to blend strategic thinking with tactical sales execution to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• A strong commercial acumen and financially astute.

• A hands-on approach to the workplace.
• Previous experience in building and managing a sales team.
