We are now on the hunt for a talented General Manager of Showroom and Interior Design to join our team. This role is pivotal in executing our gallery strategy and developing the capabilities of our team to ensure the delivery of key business objectives. This role has the primary responsibility of leading a talented group of experienced Interior Designers delivering an expert customer experience. 

As a key member of the Sales & Marketing leadership team this role will lead with innovative, creative direction to deliver and maximise our value proposition.

Your key accountabilities will include:

• Leading and delivering the strategic direction of the Gallery in partnership with the Chief of Sales and Marketing and the wider GM team. 
• Overseeing the management of the Gallery team nationally to ensure effective operations and achievement of sales targets.
• Staying ahead of key trends including colour palettes and new products. 
• Overseeing digital innovation to drive gallery efficiencies.
• Managing key supplier relationships to maximise Simonds value proposition alongside procurement, construction and operations.
• Working with internal stakeholders including sales, marketing and operations to drive the customer’s journey and experience.
• Work in partnership with the General Manager of Product and Innovation in aiding the delivery of the display program nationally. 
• Managing the achievement of key performance indicators including sales targets and margins.

You are a true people leader with strong financial acumen. You have ideally worked and have demonstrated experience in a similar role within the construction industry and have a core capability to balance the creative and the commercial nature of this role. You enjoy working collaboratively by building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You also have a solutions-focussed professional attitude and thrive on achieving targets.
