Recently they were purchased by a global private equity firm and form part of a worldwide ecosystem which will give the General Manager - Strategy & Architecture the ability to leverage top tier executives and enable success in the role.This role is the 2IC to the CTO and will play a key part in the transformation through building and owning the Strategy & Architecture practice.What are the key objectives?
- Align Business and Technology strategies to improve the financial stability and revenue of the business
- Establish various architecture practices such as Enterprise and Domain Architecture
- Technology simplification and rationalisation
- Alignment of strategy with government regulations
- Align the individualised state-based technology landscapes to create a consolidated environment
- Build a team of experienced, high performing professionals
- Previous experience building and owning an Architecture practice in a large and complex enterprise
- Experience working in highly regulated environments with continuously changing requirements
- Experience working closely with senior business leaders including CFO and Board
- Ability to influence and quickly show the value of technology uplifts to senior business leaders
- Exceptional leadership skills, providing clear strategic direction to the team
- Ability to be hands on and provide rigor across the technology landscape
- Knowledge of modern technology best practice and experience migrating from legacy technology environments
- Consulting background and relevant industry experience are helpful to have
