ABOUT THE ROLE:

Located in our Ipswich or Morayfield office this role offers a unique vantage point into Disability Support Management. As Blue Iris grows, so will your opportunities to influence change.

Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing all caseloads of the team, including Team Leaders

• The General Manager will carry a small specialist Support Coordination case load with a 50% billable KPI.

• Supervision with Team Leaders (monthly)

• Allocation of new referrals and monitoring

• Hiring and termination of staff. Interview process and onboarding.

• Performance management if/when needed.

• Review of KPI’s and regular reviews to ensure staff are meeting them.

• Running monthly team meetings

• Arranging quarterly PD days

• Conflict resolution- within the team, with stakeholders or clients

• Reviewing sector changes, monitoring trends, and looking at future proofing options

• Manage complaints (internal or external).

• Review training requirements within the team.

• Build relationships within the sector, exploring new avenues/options for the team.

• Monitoring of overall income/budgets and ensuring staff renumeration reflects output.

• Oversee onboarding of new staff.

• Review of risks and incidents.

• Develop new policies and procedures.

• Support the organisation through audit, ensuring the team meets audit requirements.

• Ensure the team is compliant with NDIS regulations, monitor any changes.

ABOUT YOU:

We're searching for a dynamic individual who possesses both experience and an unwavering dedication to service:

• The agility to adapt to evolving situations.

• Previous experience with disabled individuals; expertise in complex mental health is an advantage.

• Bachelor in Business or related field

• An eye for detail and a commitment to confidentiality.

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Initiative and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.

• An Open Queensland Driver’s Licence.

• Eligibility for:

• Current Paid Working with Children Check (Blue Card).

• Current Paid NDIS Workers Screening Card (Yellow Card).
