Our client is a key player in the Australian concrete coatings business, they offer top quality products and systems to the concreting and construction industries.
Currently they have an immediate need to engage a General Manager to lead and manage all aspects of the business including systems and staff for handling chemicals and driving sales efforts across wholesaler networks across the country.
Other aspects of the role include:
- Maintain existing relationships and identify potential new wholesalers and direct customers.
- Be responsible for sales and marketing to maximise revenue.
- Manage profit and loss (P/L) for the business.
- Provide technical advice (with assistance from current directors/owners) and support to wholesalers and customers, ensuring confidence in product quality and application.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform product development and sales efforts.
Your Background
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including wholesalers, customers.
- Highly motivated and sales results-driven, with a passion for driving growth and achieving ambitious targets in a dynamic and competitive market environment.
- Technical/Trade background with a willingness or ability to understand safety systems and manufacture of paint products/coatings, solvents and associated chemicals.
