General Mill Worker/Rigger (Machine Fitting Shop)
- General Mill Worker/Riggers (Capital Crew)
These roles are for the Burdekin Region at
Pioneer Mill. They are permanent positions, and the successful applicants will be required to perform a full range of duties. Job level will depend on current qualifications and skills required to complete the position.You will work as part of a team and perform duties as directed by the Work Coordinator and/or Work Execution Superintendent.Additional benefits for working with Wilmar Sugar include:

The main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Operation of mobile plant
- High level of theoretical and practical knowledge of the process and mechanical aspects of tools and equipment
- A commitment to our safe operation and safe maintenance initiatives
- Ensure rigging equipment is checked, maintained and tested, any faulty equipment reported immediately
- Ensure permits to work, risk assessments and job safety analysis are conducted for all work undertaken
- Perform plant maintenance and/or assist day work/shift trades and production operators as required
- Strong communication and organisational skills in a team environment
- Have an excellent understanding of the WH&S regulations
Essential Criteria:- Current manual drivers licence
- A willingness and ability to acquire new skills and or qualifications if required
Desirable Skills:- Overhead Crane Ticket
- HR Licence
- Forklift HRW Licence
- Rigging HRW Licence
- Dogger HRW Licence
- Skid Steer Ticket
- Common User Competencies skills i.e. Welding/Fitting Skills
