General Paediatrician

Mater is seeking enthusiastic qualified General Paediatricians to join our Mater Mothers Hospitals in Rockhampton, Mackay and Townsville.

Mater has opportunities for both new and experienced General Paediatricians that include employment, supported and independent private practice.  Mater is an iconic health service, the largest of its kind in Australia, with almost 12,000 births statewide and capturing over 50% of Queensland’s private maternity marketshare.  There is tremendous demand for General Paediatricians in these centres, and Mater is here to support you to be successful. 

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Registration as a Medical Practitioner without conditions, with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Specialist registration: Paediatrics and Child Health – General Paediatrics
• Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) or equivalent
• Completed Advanced Training in General Paediatrics with the RACP or equivalent
