The Role:

The Pricing Analyst will support the Pricing team and company on insurance pricing decisions through robust, accurate and timely data-driven analysis. The Pricing Analyst is a highly technical role and will support the end-to-end pricing of our insurance products. through data preparation, analysis, modelling, technical review and presenting insights to management.

Accountabilities:

• Understanding sources of data, its limitations and common uses within the team.
• Managing and manipulating extensive data sets.
• Conducting technical analysis as directed, including building predictive models.
• Drawing insights and providing recommendations on next steps.
• Explaining work and communicating findings to senior management.
• Performing regular reporting.
• Implementing, testing, and monitoring pricing changes.

Knowledge and Experience:

• General Insurance Pricing experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Programming knowledge (e.g. SQL, SAS, R, GCP).
• Degree qualified in mathematics, actuarial studies or similar.
• Progressing through actuarial examinations viewed favourably.
