Form of workEltham Central Medical Clinic is fully accredited and highly regarded GP practice that has been serving the Nillumbik Shire for over 70 years. We are looking for a warm, friendly and motivated General Practice Nurse (Division I) to work part time Monday to Wednesday 8.30-1.30pm. Working hours can be discussed with right applicant. We will consider applicants with excellent motivation, people skills (especially with the elderly and with young families) over previous Practice Nurse experience in a GP clinic.
Essential criteria
- AHPRA registered.
- Nurse immuniser accredited.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to work part time.
Required/preferred skills
- Good computer literacy with experience in MedicalDirector software is preferred.
- Recall management.
- Ability to work independently.
- Childhood and adult Immunisations.
- Chronic disease management including diabetic and asthma cycle of care.
- Injury management and wound care.
- Assisting in minor surgery.
- Triage of patient.
- ECGs.
- Cold chain management.
- Maintaining infection control.
- Acute care in case of emergencies.
- Stock control.
