General Practitioner

UQ Health Care is looking for GPs to work in our Urgent Care Centre in Woolloongabba.

UQ Health Care (UQHC) is a Not-for-profit 100% owned by the University of Queensland. UQHC operates 5 medical centre's and 2 Allied Health Clinics. UQHC has been operating for over 10 years and has over 60 GPs and 20 Allied Health professionals within our group.

We are looking to attract multiple doctors to work full-time, part-time or casual in our Urgent Care Clinic. 

The Urgent Care Centre currently operates from 8 am to 8 pm, 7 days per week, 365 days per year, and we are offering flexible shifts during the week and weekends.

We are offering an attractive rate of $200 - $250 an hour, you can choose to work as a Contractor or an employee and as UQHC is not-for-profit, you can access attractive salary-sacrificing arrangements (employees only).

The Urgent Care Centre will be co-located in our Cornwall Street Medical Centre.  Situated within the PACE building on Cornwall Street and conveniently located just behind the PA hospital.

Joining around 60 doctors across the group, and an experienced Medical Director, you will have access to collegial support and a depth and breadth of knowledge.
