AddressTHE ROLE An opportunity has become available for an experienced General Sales Manager to join our client located on the Gold Coast in Queensland. They are a dealer of pre-owned and new Toyota vehicles. Reporting to the Dealer Principle, you will oversee the operations, sales & finance and ensure reporting and customer service are executed professionally and efficiently. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Meeting with the Dealer Principal to plan and implement objectives for achieving sales and gross profits.
- Hiring and monitoring the performance of the sales department, hosting morning stand up meetings and weekly sales overview meetings.
- In the Dealer Principal's absence ensure all departments of the Dealership are fully operational.
Attend to company requirements on an as need basis.
- Overseeing standards for displaying and merchandising both new and used vehicles as well as reviewing and approving all promotions before they are finalised.
- Coordinating the appropriate supply of new and used vehicles with a particular focus on the reduction of aged stock.
- Meeting weekly with the Dealer Principal to review forecasts and profits for the Sales department.
- Build and maintain excellent working relationships and confidences with all staff and customers.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have Toyota experience
- not negotiable.
- Preferably 2
- 3 years' experience
- Must have vehicle sales licence.
- Conversant with Dealership system
- TUNE and DealerSocket.
THE OFFER
- Salary of $180k OTE + super and company car
