With a booming, culturally rich and diverse community, and less than an hour's drive from the CBD, Melbourne's North is fast becoming the place to be!The Role:An opportunity exists for an AGSU Reliever (Locum) to join the team at Northern Health for a fixed term period.The Surgeon will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members including allied health clinicians, nursing and medical staff to deliver high quality services as well as driving related research and innovation.To be successful in this role you will have:

• Medical registration with the Medical Board of Australia under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Undergraduate medical qualification as a first degree is essential - MBBS, MD, PhD or equivalent
• Appropriate specialty qualifications such as Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) or equivalent is essential
• Sub-specialty CSSANZ recognition (or at least TBCRS completion)
• Eligible for registration for Medicare provider number
• Current National Police and Working with Children History Check
