You will be responsible for helping to design, conduct and document a broad range of environmentally focused projects. Opportunities exist both at the Junior or Senior level.Responsibilities and Duties Assisting with the conduct of field investigations associated with geochemical assessments, water quality studies, gas composition studies, design and implementation of remedial activities, passive and active treatment projects, installation and data collection associated with monitoring programs, tailings and waste rock design and management projects, groundwater assessments, subcontractor supervision, project coordination with analytical laboratories; Preparing cost estimates and proposals; Preparation of technical reports; Assisting with data interrogation, assessment, interpretation, display and reporting; Preparation of figures/maps/tables/boring log/cross-sections…etc; Routinely travelling throughout Australia and overseas on project work; Assisting with the conduct of geochemical and geotechnical testwork in Earth Systems’ laboratory.
