With a rapidly growing pipeline of work, the IntelliSpatial team is looking for a survey professional with manned and unmanned aviation experience to join our Perth based team in a permanent, full-time role. The survey professional must hold a remote pilot licence (RePL) certification.
About the opportunity
This role will work with the Aerial Survey team across all aspects of geospatial capture, processing and project management for both manned and unmanned projects, including:
- Understanding of project scope and planning capture methodology to ensure project accuracy is achieved
- Plan locations of aerial survey targets for manned aviation and drone surveys
- Identify correct flight planning parameters to meet project accuracies
- Selection of correct aerial survey equipment to meet project accuracies
- Utilising high quality Riegl and Phaseone aerial survey sensors
- Understanding processing techniques to effectively execute project scopes
- Understanding of processing reports and statistics and influence on accuracy
- Adjust settings in processing software to optimise processing results
- Complete processing of LiDAR and photogrammetry datasets
- Complete classification of point cloud data
- Complete terrain modelling on exported point cloud data
- Complete quality assurance on exported point clouds and surfaces
- Opportunity to travel Australia wide completing aerial survey campaigns
- Work independently and a part of a high functioning team of subject matter experts
About you
You are a geospatial survey professional who shares our vision of turning geospatial data into actionable insights through the power of data dissemination and visualisation.
In addition, you are an experienced LiDAR and photogrammetry operator with:
- a remote pilot licence (RePL) certification
- a qualification in surveying and demonstrated experienced in manned and unmanned capture, or equivalent experience
- demonstrated end-to-end experience working on aerial survey projects and producing high end deliverables
- intermediate to advanced proficiency in using software such as Reigl
- excellent data management and organisational skills
- an ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders across various industries
