The Apprenticeship
Certificate III in Glass & Glazing
The position is a full-time apprenticeship, working a minimum of 38 hours per week and will be paid as per the relevant award unless otherwise advised.
Duties may include
- Measure & cut pieces of glass
- Smooth & polish edges
- Install glass into openings such as windows & doors
- Assemble & secure parts of pre-made glass units such as shop fitting & shower enclosures
- Be committed to undertaking a 48-month apprenticeship.
- Possess a driver’s licence
- Able to work at heights
- Hold a White Card (preferred but not essential)
- Be physically fit
- Willing to learn & work in an active & changing environment
- Have a strong work ethic & takes pride in quality workmanship
