This position requires a hands-on leader who has both strategic foresight and operational expertise to drive ResMed's talent agenda forward. You will lead a large team responsible for attracting, developing, and retaining across the globe, ensuring alignment with ResMed's strategy.

Let's talk about Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global talent strategy that aligns with ResMed's short and long-term goals.
  • Provide leadership to the Talent Acquisition, Talent Management and Learning & Development teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with PLT and Senior Leadership to understand organizational needs and anticipate future talent requirements.
  • Craft and execute a thorough talent management strategy that encompasses recruitment, growth, succession planning, and retention.

Talent Acquisition

  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment process including planning, sourcing, attraction, and selection across a diverse range of roles across all levels and geographies.
  • Utilize data driven insights to continuously improve recruitment strategies, enhance candidate experience and optimize metrics that drive recruitment goals.
  • Work with Sourcing and Recruitment Marketing leads to effectively build talent pipelines for critical roles across ResMed.

Talent Management

  • Lead initiatives to identify and develop critical talent, develop succession plans, and facilitate talent mobility programs to foster career growth and retention.
  • Implement, oversee, and develop goal setting and performance development processes to drive employee engagement, accountability, and continuous feedback.
  • Partner with PBPs to address talent gaps, optimize organizational structure and cultivate a culture of Talent development and retention.
  • Collaborate with the executive leadership and board to ensure Talent and Learning strategies are in sync with corporate objectives, impacting organizational performance positively.

Learning & Development

  • Design and execute learning strategies that build critical and institutional capability and support the development of our people at all levels.
  • Evaluate training requirements in line with our strategic workforce plan, develop learning content strategies that leverage best practice and meet learners where they are at.
  • Monitor the ongoing effectiveness of learning programs, measure ROI and adjust strategies in line with ResMed priorities.
  • Build and develop a leadership development program from emerging to executives that develops world class leaders.
  • Reassess current programs for their effectiveness and alignment with strategic goals, ensuring optimal return on investment

Team Management and Development

  • Lead, coach and mentor a global team of Talent professionals ensuring alignment and fostering a culture of collaboration, growth and accountability.
  • Set clear goals and performance objectives, provide regular feedback, and facilitate development opportunities to enhance team capability.
  • Promote BIDs initiatives within the team and across all talent - related processes and programs.

  • Proven track record in successfully developing and leading Talent Management, Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development programs, demonstrating significant positive impact on organizational culture and performance in a global business environment.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in mentoring and growing teams to achieve excellence in program delivery.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making capabilities to assess team effectiveness and adapt strategies in response to changing organizational needs.
  • Advanced knowledge of current trends, technologies, and best practices across TA, TM and L&D.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a history of building strong relationships across all levels of an organization to drive talent initiatives.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable talent strategy.
  • Passion for driving organizational change, fostering a culture of inclusion, and enabling employee growth and development.

Location is flexible to US or Australia with opportunity for fully remote.
