Role Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced Interim Head of Human Resources to join their dynamic leadership team in Sydney on a fixed term 12-month contract. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of the HR function, ensuring alignment with their 2025 strategic goals and objectives as well as take the lead on a critical project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy and 2025 vision.
- Provide strategic input to Practice Leads and Partners.
- Work closely with global HR counterparts to develop and deliver the HR strategy and keep continuity in its vision.
- Forge strong working relationships across the firm, driving collaborative working to ensure the best solutions possible.
- Oversee all aspects of employee relations, including performance management, employee engagement, talent management, learning & development and reward
- Manage the HR budget and ensure cost-effective HR operations
- Collaborate with senior management to drive a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Proven experience as a Director or ‘Head of HR’ in a Global Professional Services Firm or similar environment, where you have worked collaboratively with counterparts located overseas.
- Demonstrated success in supporting a business through strategic change and transformation
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a national team
