- Financial and commercial support for strategic decisions
- Commercial support across all of the brand's countries and disciplines (operations, sales, marketing, CS, supply and support functions) in order to identify opportunities to drive both growth and margin improvements in order to inform our strategy and business model.
- Establish criteria for benchmarking and reporting on the brand's country performance at a global level in order to inform future strategic direction at both a nation and global level as we continue to evolve our business model and the globalise, standardise, synchronise framework.
- Work closely with senior operational and finance leaders on specific projects to drive incremental value to the business, including supplier margins, productive operations, customer pricing, productisation of our platform and programs and so on.
- Support in setting key KPIs, targets and OKRs at a global, discipline and nation level.
- Developing business cases for new opportunities, collaborating with all relevant stakeholders to build financial models and test the strategy, including market research / benchmarking and ROI analysis.
- Benchmark and review competitor results and strategy to business performance to provide useful insights to senior management.
- Detailed analysis of historical and budget / forecast financial information including assessment of assumptions and achievability of expected results and the strategic initiatives which underpin the numbers.
- Regular review of the brand's country and discipline results, providing commercial analysis and support to the Global GM and CCO - including tracking KPIs, targets and OKRs on monthly / quarterly / annual basis.
- Work closely with internal BI and commercial leads to ensure alignment in global, nation and discipline reporting, such as KPI definitions, data sources and ongoing data integrity
- At least 3+ years' relevant experience post qualification.
- Financial management experience -Interpret financial management reports / Financial modelling experience / Strong accounting knowledge.
- Corporate development experience - Transaction services, investment, strategy experience would be highly regarded.
- Travel industry knowledge - Knowledge of travel industry and Flight Centre business would be beneficial
- Degree essential
- CA/CPA/CFA desirable
- Ability to drill down and understand underlying facts.
