A bit about the team and the role:
The PropTrack GM, Commercial - sits on the PropTrack leadership. This role leads our national sales teams, which also include a small but passionate customer success and client analytics teams. This role whilst predominately focused on customers acquisition, is also responsible to protect and grow our trusted partner status with our existing banking & financial services customers. However, PropTrack, as part of the REA Group is also rapidly becoming a household name in trusted, independent property information and analytics, as a result are growing a strong reputation for our unique and innovative solutions across multiple market segments including government and enterprise.
What the role is all about:
- Create and drive the Commercial Sales/Account strategy.
- Lead the performance of the account managers, customer success and client analytic teams to ensure all revenue targets and OKRs are achieved.
- Drive a plan that places our customer sentiment at the forefront whilst ensuring our commercial team undertake the most profitable activity.
- Identify areas of revenue growth across segments and markets, and develop tactical programs with product and marketing.
- Continue to evaluate market opportunities for new products and market performance of existing products and feed back to key stakeholders.
- Be accountable for identifying and managing long term risks to revenue growth and proactively develop plans to manage these.
- Review structure and processes of the commercial team to ensure they are cost effective, drive customer sentiment and are aligned to strategic and business needs.
- Work closely with x-functional stakeholders to deliver impactful results to drive toward our north star ' Australia's #1 property data, valuations and insights business".
What we're looking for:
- A strong track record of building networks (preferably existing) at C-level, EGM and GM levels of major banks and financial institutions, with at least 5 years' experience in selling B2B, B2B2C solution, value-based services.
- Extensive knowledge of modern sales methodologies that help to understand customer engagement and drive connectedness.
- Extensive knowledge of sales management best practices, including pipeline management and developmental sales coaching.
- Strong negotiating skills within a context of political sensitivity and conflicting interests.
- Highly-developed training, presentation and written communication skills.
- High adaptability and flexibility, including the ability to lead with compassion whilst managing multiple deadlines, ambiguity, and change.
- Bachelor's degree or higher required, but more weight given to history of making an impact and driving business outcomes.
- Superior organisational, conflict resolution, time management, and negotiation skills.
- Work productively in a fast paced and agile environment - #gsd (urban dictionary will help on this one!).
